Description:
After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excel's window components, students will learn how to use the Help system and navigate worksheets and workbooks. Students will also move and copy data, learn about absolute and relative references, and work with ranges, rows, and columns. This course also covers simple functions, basic formatting techniques, and printing. Finally, students will create and modify charts, and learn how to manage large workbooks.

What Makes Children Tick? Understanding How Sensory Input Impacts Your Child's Behaviors

This workshop will teach parents, childcare providers and teachers to see their children in a whole new way.

You will learn how to help kids who are picky eaters or who avoid certain clothes and certain places.

This workshop will help you understand kids who are very energetic, who melt down often, and who become aggressive more than you think is typical.

This will be a huge eye opening experience for you! It will explain the fundamentals of Sensory Processing.

This training explains how children react to the world through their senses and how it impacts their behavior. It will address typical sensory reactions as well as problematic reactions. Parents, childcare providers, and teachers will gain core knowledge of sensory processing.

This workshop will help you:

2. Identify how senses impact everyday behaviors

3. Discover why children may have puzzling behaviors

This workshop is open for parents, caregivers, and childcare providers of children ages 15 months-5 yrs old.

· This workshop explains why children test and repeat negative behaviors.

· You will learn to understand a child's motives. You cannot change a behavior if you don't fully understand why it is happening.

· Participants will walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of their child and/or those they work with.

· You will have the wisdom and ability to step back and assess a situation with clarity and confidence.

· Armed with this information, participants can more effectively intervene in a child's negative behavior.

This workshop can be taken alone or in conjunction with Modifying Your Child's Behaviors. Those who take both workshops will have a more enhanced knowledge of dealing with child behaviors.

Auburn's 4th annual Chili and Chowder Fest is seeking participants. Whether you are a professional or amateur, a returning competitor or looking to try your hand for the first time, all are welcome to paticipate.

We have five categories for participants: Professional Chili; Professional Chowder; Amateur Chili; Amateur Chowder; and People's Choice.

A panel of local "celebrity" judges will select the Professional and Amateur category winners, while our guest will vote for the People's Choice Award.

If cooking chili or showder is not your thing, but eating it is, come on down on March 18th and sample some of Auburn's best! $5 in advance or $7 at the door gets you all the chili and chowder you care to sample, live entertainment and a lot of fun.

Sunday afternoons:
January 8, 15, 22, 29;
Februrary 6, 12, 19, 26,; (playoffs)

25 min running halves, 5 min halftime
7 game regular season plus playoffs (top 4 teams in each division)

Description:This course covers the basic functions and features of Access 2007. Students will learn how to design and create databases; work with tables, fields, and records; sort and filter data; and create queries, forms, and reports. Full day of hands-on, instructor-led training! Follow along on assigned PC. Each student receives class workbook.
