A traveling survey exhibition of contemporary craft and traditional art produced in the southeastern United States, and is the only venue in Alabama. Organized by the Southern Arts Federation, Tradition/Innovation: American Masterpieces of Southern Craft and Traditional Art presents fifty-eight of the region’s master artists working in ceramics, glass, fiber arts, basketry, woodworking, metal-smithing, book arts, and other traditionally “utilitarian” media.
