What does "NO TURN ON RED" mean to you?
By Scott & Sharron VottieroContributor
It's not an ambiguous traffic sign - NO TURN ON RED.
We see it every week when exiting BJ's and at Prospect street (at RT. 20). Maybe a well placed unmarked police car can net the town some additional funds.
Also, watch how many cars run the red light at Prospect and Rt. 20 every few minutes. Be careful out there!

Thursday, February 26, 2009Robert MacI wish whoever is in charge of the "NO TURN ON RED" signs would re-evaluate where and when to use them.
It seems that in rural, well-open areas with little traffic there are "NO TURN ON RED" signs that are unnecessary, but in blind corners and busy streets the signs are missing or misplaced so you cant see them.
With gas prices (and gas TAXES) so high its a good idea not to have to wait a long traffic lights (esp. in the middle of the night when there is no traffic).
Just my opinion.
